They can't unlock your phone if you don't have one.

The fingerprint isn't really a security thing since you must have a pincode or password to use the fingerprint feature. So basically when you use the fingerprint feature, your real security is a pincode or password. The fingerprint is just there to open your phone faster.

My friend was using voice recognition to get into his phone but I just imitated his voice and after a couple of times I got in.

All phones I know of require a backup password for biometrics, so they're a useless security feature

The safest way is to... put it in a realy small bag and put a padlock in it

How can biometric be any more safe than pin code. All the phones require you to input a pin code as a backup for fallback where biometric authentication fails. Am I missing something?

I don't get it tho. If you use a fingerprint unlock, you still need a pin as a back up so it's no safer. Because you still have a pin or pattern code

Also there are ways of tricking the Phone without the password, no guessing, no "gummy finger" just a USB and a couple programs.

Literally every time he says "I know what you're thinking..."
It's the opposite of what I'm thinking.

I don't use biometric unlocking methods for my devices. The reason is that at least in USA the law enforcement agencies are allowed to force you to unlock your devices using your biometrics.

So I encrypt my devices and their micro SD cards. And I use passwords for my devices.

Yeah but when you set up fingerprint, iris... you still need to set a pattern pin or password for backup so nothing is secured...

Is it worth the inconvenience of 2 factor authentication for the decreased risk of being hacked if you dint have much you care about on that account?
