Imagine it from an animal’s POV: A tall, furless animal has been chasing you for the past 10 minutes. You’re a wildebeest, but despite the fact you’ve outran it several times, it always closes the distance eventually. The animal doesn’t even look like it’s breathing hard, just covered in water for some reason. Meanwhile you can’t see yourself mustering the energy to run away full speed any time soon, your energy just doesn’t return as fast as whatever that is. You hear it make strange noises and gestures with its long arms, its hand signaling in your direction. It makes eye contact with you, then you realized you were surrounded. Lured into the waiting arms of the other furless creatures. Just as fast as you realize what’s happening, an object you’ve never seen before is thrown at speeds you thought impossible right through your chest.

People forgot that the human body is amazing. We are one of the best if not THE best endurance runners off all animails. + we are the only species that are so good at trowing things really hard. And our tumbs and use of hands-eye coördination is amazing
