It's a trait that can be difficult to measure and is often misunderstood (mainly because there are different types of intelligence). Some people think being smart is just a matter of IQ. So, if you want to spot a genius mind, you must keep that in mind.

Since there are a lot of misconceptions about what it means to be intelligent and possess exceptional brainpower, we take a closer look at some signs of high intelligence, and what highly intelligent people do differently. “Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems, wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.” — Jim Rohn ✨

High intelligent people not only like to read books but also to connect and link info. They can find out the truth and even predict the future by analysing the connections behind pieces of phenomenent.

Intelligence gets mistreated. You genuinely try to help people and they hate you for it. You wind up giving up most of yourself to please others, because they try to make you feel like an outsider. Every conversation turns into a competition. Intelligent people like to be by themselves so they can be free of the drama. You feel more abandoned among people that you do by yourself. You don't owe the world anything, but you owe yourself a good life and you don't need anyone else's permission to be happy.

Highly intelligent people also find a way to give guidance and have teachable moments with others as well.

Every day I’m thankful for the talents I’ve been blessed with. I’m an artist and a musician. I’m also very impatient with people who think those talents are a waste of time.

I always think that I am way ahead of most people and I love learning from people that are better than me more intelligent than me have something to be able to teach me. This was 100% accurate

Intelligent people see the big picture then to deal with little things that don't matter. Great video!

I’ve noticed and learned throughout my varied life experiences and having lived in five states, that highly-intelligent people are generally not as talkative. They listen and tend to be quiet. That doesn’t mean they are shy though.

Very good, thanks. I wish more people who are NOT highly intelligent would see this. It might help them realize what they're doing wrong and how frustrating they make life for others

Wow! I just felt like a light turned on in my head after watching this. There were many things, and then others that I can add that got to me. Most of my life from childhood up to now has been from this video. I was raised in a Mexican American family. However, I was more drawn to Japanese culture and language. At times, I even studied Japanese more than Spanish, and even did better in Japanese. My fashion style was more conservative than my relatives; even my choices of Japanese jazz music and art culture. Now, I’m always hungry for self-learning and self-improvement. I enjoy positive thinking and self-reflection materials. Thanks so much for this video. I was once asked why I’ve never dated within my own race. I told that person, “I don’t know. I’m just not interested and not drawn into by that sort of person. Just because I am doesn’t mean I am.”

Thank you! That’s all that was needed for today to keep the spirit high. It’s the beginning of a new life and this is empowering as it’s been challenging to be constantly fighting the way out.

All of this is very true! However, we're also detail oriented & highly organized when needed but everyone has similar traits & facets to their personality, no matter the intelligence.😊
Nice video, enjoyed it.

This is absolutely true. Also, the story of my life. It can be burdensome sometimes because others just don't want to listen and grow.

I'm not laying claim to be intelligent, but I have had people confide in me when they've had problems in their lives. I listen, then I ask them, "How does that make you feel?" Then I listen some more. The best way to endear yourself to others is to be sincerely interested in what they have to say.

Love this vid! To the max! And, the only thing I might be fiercely loving right now, aside from/more than this, is learning! Oh, & my cat, as well! Rock on & peace out, everyone!💜🌍

Good to see other ways people can be intelligent being shown rather than the usual societal norms.

I really liked this video which showed that all my nerdy, anti-social and just plain weird traits are really signs that I am special. It is also extremely pleasing to find that there are so many other highly intelligent people around even if they do self-identify. What concerns me, though, is that, given the large number of HIP's, why the world is in such a mess. Perhaps, if just some of the self-identifiers exchanged a little of their hubris for a dose of humility it would make things a little better. Just a thought...

A lot of this is me. For fun I am teaching my Koine Greek. I do have ADD and insomnia. I have figured out that rather than trying to read a story that will get me wound up listening to a non fiction book audio book on topics I am interested in is the best way to end my day
