Hi Matt
I am this clubs target market and used to play Callaway drivers for years. However, on fittings other brands got ahead of them and now use a Cobra LTDx and im hitting that really well averaging 230 to 240. Unfortunately with the rise in prices i think i would look for a good quality second hand club over a new one. It is my view that manufacturers are creating a problem for themselves, in that the average golfer will hold onto clubs longer, until they can see a big difference in distance.
Cheers mate, love you work ❤

Just bagged this last week Matt had the rogue st max which the bertha beat hands down on my fitting. I even tried the paradym, tsr2 and the ping. This has the forgiveness of the ping but with distance of the longer drivers. This thing is incredibly I play off 4 and have a slight cut shot but this driver just launches high straight bombs

Matt, how would you compare the Big Berta to the same year's Great Big Bertha driver? Is there even more of an uptick with the GBB?

How about a head to head driver shootout between it’s two years old predecessor the Big Bertha B21? Test forgiveness and overall distance performance. Then throw in the mix another winner this year the Titleist TSR2 and Paradym standard. Another YouTube tester on here did a comparison of distance between this new Big Bertha and the Paradym standard and in that test, BB outhit it by 2.5 yards. It’s a competitor indeed!

Have always been a Callaway fan but both you and Rick Shiels seem to love the Ping. So plan on looking at it for my next driver. But sounds like I have another one to consider. Nice video.

i wonder how many high handicappers will install the Ventus blue shaft in their BB driver?

got fitted into a G40 LST driver recently and it was the longest and straightest by far. Even on miss hits there wasn't a massive drop off in distance which I found with other brands

I’ve got a Ping G driver…. but mine is a G10. It’s been my old faithful for years and helped me stay in single figures - but I take it I’m missing out on some of the new technology, Matt? Time for a change?

Great club. The most under the radar driver in years, doesn't get the love it deserves. Easy to launch, forgiving and long. I was concerned about the draw bias but have no problem hitting long and straight. Not wild about the RCH55 shaft, put in a helium 5F3. Only been in the bag a few weeks but looks like a keeper. Going to alternate it with the paradym TD that was the prior gamer for a final decision. Edit... happy with the club/ shaft combo and staying in the bag . Now have the confidence to really go after it and getting straight drives that are the longest in years.

Luv the BB. Unbelievable, and a long hitter too.

Please test the 700$ Callaway Great Big Bertha. I just have to know why it’s the most expensive driver on the market.

I don't normally watch club reviews as I am now 70yr old and chasing the dream is over BUT I had one of the first BIG Bertha, s and was drawn into I wonder how much it has changed... I would buy one but as i said those days are over for me.... Great vid enjoyed

since the G400 PING had the massive MOI top spot at the driver market, but over the years, the other companies came very close if not overtaken PING. I hated the sound of the G425 and went away with the Cally Rogue ST Max with delivers very similar results all over the face

THE most forgiving driver ever built, without doubt, without question is the Callaway Big Bertha B21!

Nice club but it won’t make me upgrade from my old BB, with a senior shaft!
