I should have made this clearer ➡ Callaway also has the Rogue ST Max (the one in this video is the ST Max LS) which they say is their "most forgiving" driver. In testing, I didn't find much difference between the Max LS and the Max except the LS was slightly longer with seemingly no difference in dispersion on off-centre strikes. So I think the ST Max LS is the better for most golfers 👍

Great video Pete! Love the content!
What shafts were used in the drivers mate? Would you do a video on the difference in forgiveness, swing speed etc. between say a reg flex and X stiff shaft in drivers?

the new mizuno stz 220 has worked wonders for me. beforehand, i was the kind of player who would pull out an iron on open tee shots, but now i don’t stray away from driver on any par 4/5.

Good stuff as always, Pete. It's great that a lot of this affects and helps over 90% of players.

I bought a Callaway Epic Speed early this year from Callaway. I had a Razr Fit Extreme previously. I had Taylormade R11, R11s and then RBZ before the Callaways. I ended up purchasing the 3 and 5 woods to go with theEpic Speed Driver. Same technology as the Rogue. Very, Very Happy.

As a relatively new golfer only really starting to play and practice often last Spring, my drives with the Rogue Max ST have been the most solid and forgiving by far. Callaway was running the the 50% bonus trade in credit and I would actually get more for my Maverick driver than I paid for it so figured why not. The driver has now become one of the best struck clubs in my bag. 🙌🏼

I bought the Rogue Max LS and it has been a game changer for me off the tee. I could not be more pleased and happy I bought this driver despite picking a new (cheaper option) the year before.

I love the channel man! I would love to see you interact more with your fans (play some holes on the channel). Keep doing your thing and I will most definitely keep on watching! 👌🏾🤙🏾

Great video Pete, at the end of last year when I went for a driver fitting, I tried the g425 max, tsi 1 and sim 2 max all clubs I wanted. And In the end the Rad speed max was the best for me

Have tested these recently (G430 max, tsr2, paradym x, aerojet). The paradym set up beautifully and had the most solid feel on hits across the face. Currently have Epic max LS and it has the same solid feel and consistent forgiving flight. The Callaways set up great with a square face. I only have a high 80's swing speed but have had good results with the LS version. I see the same in your situation, curious why they say the LS should be for higher swing speeds. Rogue ST max is now 399 which makes it a good deal.

I bought the Triple Diamond with my spec to replace my older PXG, I then tried the Max LS and wow what a difference, I could hit the triple diamond reasonably well but it was the odd hit which I would get a larger left or right than id like, the point being it was the odd shot that went in BOTH directions, so its hard to adapt to a both direction bad shot. I have now got the MAX LS and I absolutely love hitting it and it's also the longest driver I've been able to carry too.

The Callaway Rouge ST max or LS will be my first tester to compare to my current TM 2016 M2. My M2 was custom fit 2 times in 2021 for shafts. Last and current one is an Evenflow Riptide CB 6.0. I averaged 1.48 smash factor on trackman.

Going to be fun comparing them also going try Titleist TSI2 or it’s next model too.
I hit the Rouge ST max 3 wood about a month ago at my local range. Amazing feel/sound and forgiveness. If the driver feels as good as their 3 wood I’ll be sold.

I play a Cobra LTDx after playing a Ping G425 SFT, I find the Cobra for me just as forgiving as the Ping. I tend to believe that the many of the manufacturers all have reached about the same level of forgiveness in this category of drivers. I think you nailed it when you mentioned the “feel” factor leading you to choose the Callaway, that was the same thing that was the deciding factor of my choosing the Cobra because I found everything else equal when I compared the 2 on the course over a few weeks. I really appreciate this type of content as it relates to my skill level, please continue the great videos.

Mr Finch, enjoying your content . I have recently watched the “dropping of the iron “ video . Tried it and it’s great . But when I try to create whip in the swing ( I want more power ) I hit the ground before the ball . Can we have a video please. 👍

I'm now playing the LTDx LS and I find it to be very forgiving. It is very long even on off-center strikes. I'm so happy with it. My miss with it is now just a light fade. My old Nike was a consistent left miss with the odd snap hook. Square up the LTDx and it is dead straight and super penetrating. Love it. It also launches impressively, even dialed down to 8 degrees.

I have an M-1 that I play. Works great. Got it last year. I've gained roughly 15 yards most good days. But bad days it's shorter. It's all about that strike. When that G-425 goes on the used market I will be getting it. Thanks

I've been playing the PING G425 since it's release. It supplanted the Titleist and I couldn't be more pleased with it's performance!

I've also demoed the Callaway. Great performance. But the cost was quite a bit higher in my area.
