Gyoza means dumplings. Gyoza dumplings means dumpling dumplings.

Gyoza are so good!! I’m currently stuck on this one brand of mini wontons that are pre-seasoned so no sauce required- they already taste like you dunked them! Saves a little money when you’re flat broke 🤷🏻‍♀️

Here is an amazing dumpling sauce if you dont like the sayce given:
2 big spoonfuls of sugar
2 big spoonfuls of water
2 big spoonfuls of soy ( i just use regular kikomans)
1 spoon of vinegar
red pepper flakes to your liking
add maybe a pinch of ginger if you have it, but its not necessary
and if you like sesame oil, maybe a dime size of it !!

As a student, this is such an amazing but simple recipe. It’s so easy for those that already know this but for those that don’t, if you like Asian cuisine, add rice vinegar instead of regular vinegar for an added kick

I love dumplings. My Asian foreign exchange student and dear friend lived with me and my family for 5 years.

He cooked for me every night. I legit at 5 star asain food nightly. He made me lunches every day. I was so spoiled. Ate like a king. He is now a very well established cheff in Korea. Has his own restaurant. So proud of him.
