Love a good frozen gyoza. Minimal work for maximum taste.

Also its easier to control the sauce to gyoza ratio with dipping. I like to rip mine in half and get some of the sauce on the inside.

I absolutely love Gyoza, and I love dipping it in soy sauce. I have little dipping cups that you can slide on to the side of a plate that I pour the sauce in so it's just so much easier and fun to take one, dip it, and then eat.

I love gyoza, they're so good and I especially love the super crispy but also soft skin. I tend to buy a who bags of frozen gyoza from the local asian store and I just take out a few and add as a side to my meals. It's just 7 minutes to fry them (I don't have a cover for it, so I have to fry it on each side, so it takes a bit longer), during that, I'd fry also an egg, sausages, mushrooms or some vegies, and I'd have that with whatever main dish I have. It's good, quick, convenient and taste great.. Though nothing beats it when I made them myself, but it was too much work wrapping all of them, so I'm just getting store-bought now.

Well, I make my dumplings from scratch...
Mostly because I find the process calming and therapeutic. Besides, I can make my own fillings. This time it's pork, next time is shrimp. I've made curry-flavored dumplings. They're also a great way to bond with friends/SOs/children.

My hot take is that worschesire sauce is the best dumpling sauce. It is salty, tangy, funky, savoury, a little sweet, and complex. Sure i could spend time mixing a bunch of things to make a good sauce, or i could just dash some worschesire sauce on and have something just as good if not better.

Where I come from, I call them potstickers and I can confirm they are good 😋

I make food from scratch because I have many allergies. It allows me to make several combos of filling at a go, then store frozen for later.

Have made many a pot sticker before my store started carrying the round Japanese wrappers. (won ton wrappers, cornors trimed) However the frozen have improved to the point of amazing. It's good to know how to make and cook. We never know if another covid level stay at home will happen. Also, when you have food fussiness in the household you know the dumplings are allergies free and/or low sodium. Love the rectangular skillet. Can you make egg paper to then turn into threads. Have gotten bento boxes with "golden threads" garnish. Think it would be a neat thing to share with those still yet unaccustomed to homemade foods of Japan. 10 out of 10 on the enthusiasm scale. Good job.
