View this special webcast presentation with Donell Pons, M.Ed, MAT. Donell's experience with dyslexia started 21 years ago when she married her undiagnosed dyslexic husband and later found that two of her four children also had dyslexia. After her son's diagnosis, dyslexia became her life's passion. As a teacher, literacy specialist, and mother, Donell is well aware of the challenges educators face when teaching and accommodating students with dyslexia.

This webcast will address:

dyslexia evaluations
serving students with dyslexia on IEPs and 504 Plans
accommodations (including assistive technology)
instructional practices that work best for students with print-based disabilities

This is the third of a three part series.

Thank you very much for this wonderful training that opened my mind and taught me how to better teach and handle my students with reading problems as I teach phonics and diction and run consultancy in this field with schools. I have learnt a lot from this training on dyslexia and reading related teaching.
