I am currently a student who who is taking classes to become a special education teacher. Learning about different methods for inclusivity is important to me, and I want to try my best to accommodate and modify any changes for my students who may need it in order to meet their IEP social and academic goals. I am not familiar with the documentation that is needed in order for young adults to transition to college, so this video explaining these types of transitions was very informative!

I am a beginning Special Education Teacher and there is so much to still learn about. I appreciate this information given. I was not aware of what aspects of 504 plan applies to K-12 and to college. As well, I was not aware IEP or 504 plan documentation can be used for the college to accept. Although the plans are not valid in college, I am glad to see accommodations can be implemented.

I see that someone in one of my classes how also commented! I really liked all of this information given in this video, as a first year special education teacher it is very helpful and informative. Specifically, the IEP and 504 plans validity at college. I've helped to write the goals on all of my caseload and understanding that these are just goals for high school is helpful. Knowing the ATA covers those with disabilities until death is also helpful. I am glad to know college still must provide accommodations, despite the IEP's and 504 plans losing validity.

Sadly this information is very specific to the USA, and stops in the middle of the talk.
