Clogged arteries result from the build-up of a substance called plaque in the arterial walls. It is also medically referred to as arterial plaque. This plaque can reduce blood flow or even block it altogether.
Clogged arteries increase your risk of developing other health complications like a heart attack or stroke.

Cayenne Pepper increase vasodilation of the blood vessels allowing blood to flow more easily through your veins and arteries by relaxing the tiny muscles found in blood vessel walls. Research indicates that ingesting cayenne pepper increases circulation, improves blood vessel strength and reduces plaque buildup in your arteries.

Some of the most common risk factors for clogged arteries are:
High levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) or low levels of HDL (good cholesterol)
A high blood pressure
Smoking tobacco
Diabetes or elevated blood sugar levels
A family history of atherosclerosis or clogged arteries
Stress
Obesity
A sedentary lifestyle

Most cases of clogged arteries do not exhibit any symptoms until a heart attack or blood clot presents itself. However, in cases where 70% or more of the arteries are blocked, you will notice the following symptoms.
Severe cases of clogged arteries may exhibit symptoms like:
Shortness of breath
Sweating
Nausea
Chest pain or angina
Palpitations of the heart
Dizziness
Weakness

Cayenne peppers are filled with beneficial nutrients.

Although you likely can't consume a large portion of cayenne due to its spice level, incorporating small amounts into your regular diet could help you meet the daily recommended values of these nutrients and more, including B6, vitamin K and potassium

How Much Cayenne Pepper Per Day? – Guide
How Many Teaspoons of Cayenne Pepper Should I Take Daily?

I would start out on 1/8 teaspoon and slowly build up over time. It is generally recommended to consume no more than one teaspoon of cayenne pepper daily. However, some people may find that they can tolerate higher amounts of cayenne pepper without any adverse effects.

Fresh and ground cayenne pepper can be used in a variety of ways:

Add a dash of cayenne pepper to a soup or stew
Sprinkle it over egg dishes such as scrambled eggs, quiches, or egg salad
Mix it into hummus
Add a pinch of ground cayenne pepper to your hot chocolate
Stir into homemade lemonade for a delicious kick
Add fresh cayenne (or ground cayenne) to sautéed vegetables
Mix fresh peppers into your favorite cornbread recipe
Combine fresh peppers and lemon juice with cooked bitter greens such as collards or kale.

I've been putting cyan pepper and turmeric on my eggs every morning now for about a year. This one single change alone had a marked impact on my overall well being. This man speaks nothing but facts.

Thank you for this health nugget. My cardiologist just found an issue with my heart.. my circulation is poor and the bottom part of my heart is struggling to pump enough blood.. I can't be on any type of blood thinners due to a genetic disorder. It could cause me yo stroke. But he said I might have to go on them if I need a stent.. I'm staying in prayer that I dont.. so I've been looking for a natural thinner that won't cause additional harm to my body. I've started adding it to my tea this morning. And will add it to whatever I can.. really appreciate this info❤

Doc, watching some of your videos is like a good re-fresher. I learned about Cayenne over 10 years ago and that it could also be used during heart attack to stop the attack. One teaspoon in the hottest water you can drink down without burning the skin. My mother was having a heart attack but refused Cayenne tea, saying she was not having a heart attack. She had Pneumonia which actually did cause a heart attack. A surgeon inserted a stint through the leg. She died twice before surgery but thankfully the staff were able to revive her. Since then, she has thinned her blood with garlic and is not doing too bad, healthwise. One heart attack and none after is amazing.

Dr Mandell you speak nothing but the truth!! Over a year ago, I started adding cayenne powder to my smoothies. Started out with a smidgen and over time up to over 1/4 teaspoon. It’s just one of many spices I use daily. In a years time, my blood work continued to show significant decreases in my LDL and cholesterol numbers. Thank you!

Dr. Mandell, your video about the medical system, is spot on. We have a broken system, priority is on meds, rather than to listen to patient
Specially seeing a doctor after getting appt. After your problem is either worse or gone. We need change, or as you say, be your own doctor. I constantly read, & share with friends what I learned. Some listen, some dont. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE❤
