Power off the machine give it more Processor cores. It might sound dumb, but it works.

in my case it is working on "ICH" option but i select the windows direct sound on the above audio driver option as you selected

Hello man, the problem I have is different and have tried some things without success.
Everytime I turn on/suspend/turn off the VM (windows 10), the audio on the host system gets kinda messed up or goes silent until I unplug and plug back my audio interface.
I'm not really familiar with VMs and all this yet, would really appreciate some help if you have an idea of what might be causing this.

Thanks for the help, but I have another problem. with the Intel HD Audio setting, Windows XP is unable to recognize the driver.
I run Windows 11 Home on an HP Laptop using an Intel Core i3 12th Gen. My guest OS is Windows XP Pro SP3.
