In this exercise video Meredith will be guiding you through a series of calming and relaxing stretches that you can do at bed time or anytime you feel you need a good stretch.

Stretching before bed is a great way to get your body relaxed for sleep. Loosening tension in muscles and joints helps relax your body and not only has physical benefit but mental benefits as well.

These stretches not only work great at night before bed but can be done anytime during the day when you have some down time. Perhaps before a nap, after a nap or even after exercising. Stretching is always a great way to finish up or even begin a new activity.

Overall, stretching before bed is a great idea and we hope you find these helpful stretches useful to you and your sleep routine.

This is great! I have been doing your other stretching exercise videos before bed for a while now. I recently had a sleep assessment consultation from a Doctor from the Sleep Studies Clinic at a local city hospital. I will be going for a Sleep Study to see if I have Sleep Apnea when the appointments open up. She offered me some tips to sleep better and to try to relieve my Restless Leg Syndrome and severe foot, ankle and calf cramps that I have been getting in my legs, which disrupts my sleep. The Doctor said to do stretching exercises before I went to bed. Your stretching exercises are perfect for it, and they really help me a lot. Thanks for developing just great exercises Meredith!🥰

Thank you, thank you, thank you Meredith, great bedtime stretch for me to do. I already do one of your stretching routines every morning to help my body deal with the day, and most days I will do one of your other routines during the day, so to end the day and unwind with your bedtime stretch I know will be hugely beneficial to my body and mind. All your routines are so good for us seniors no matter what our age or capability, they are easy to adapt if your body is having a bad day so there is no excuse to not do something, and doing that something always makes your body and mind feel a little better once you’ve done it. You are a STAR Meredith and all your senior community love 💗 you and thank you for keeping us fit, healthy and mobile. -X-💗

I just began doing these bedtime exercises as a bedtime routine and find them relaxing and stabilizing. They help me quiet down for sleep. Thank you, Meredith. Love your videos for seniors.

Ok, am I doing something wrong? I did your 20 min beginning cardio workout, followed by this and nearly fell asleep about 10 min in. 😴🤣 What a great stretch for relaxing! Thank you...
