Top 10 Reasons to move to North Dakota.

North Dakota is an often overlooked state. When people looking for a new state to relocate to, North Dakota is rarely on the top of anyone's list. I think it should be. They have a low cost of living, good air quality, great water quality, low taxes, and really low crime.
The water quality to me is a big deal like I said in the video if you search any location water and air quality is always near the top of the page. I searched Portland, Oregon and one of the first things that popped up was Lake Vancouver water quality.
North Dakota is a great place to live. Enjoy.

The snow never melts in North Dakota. It blows back and forth until it is worn out.

I visited North Dakota in my quest to step foot in every state of the union... I really enjoyed my time there. I noticed how clean it was. The traffic didn't exist. The speed limit was high. I would absolutely go back.

I’ve lived here for 3 years. Working in the oil field. If you can handle the cold brutal windy winters. You’ll be just fine. The summer is pretty. I love the prairies!

I transplanted here in Fargo from Wyoming, and found that many people, from my Dr., my barber, and a furniture salesman had all come from Wyoming.
I love this place because it has the small town feel of Wyoming, without having to drive 80 miles to go shopping, and even farther for real medical care.
I have found most of the people to be very friendly and welcoming, and having come from Wyoming, I'm already used to the wind and sideways blowing snow.

I moved to ND (from Maine) in 2008. I love it here. I’ve raised a family here, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else. ND is amazing. The cold takes some getting used to, but it is worth it.

Born and raised here (ND), lived in Kalifornia for 8 years, moved back about 30 years ago. My son lived in Oklahoma for 5 years and also moved back. It might be a bit boring, but safe, clean, and lots of good jobs. Unemployment is currently around 3.5% in Fargo.

As someone who grew up in ND, note that it has extremes in weather, not just cold winters but hot summers too. I've experienced an over 200 degree difference between Summer Heat Index and Winter Wind chill. OH, and people in cold climates pretty much have to be nice to each other, cause never know when you'll need your car pushed out of being stuck in snow (happened to me multiple times.)

My home state, born there and lived next to the Canadian border.
37 years, loved it, no traffic, no people and country life...
Winters are brutal, but doable..
Lots of hunting and fishing, also the summers are awesome!!
More cattle and deer than people, that I like, people are overrated!!

I’m from Dickinson, ND and can’t wait to move back home this summer to escape the lunatics of Colorado

Born and raised in ND.. was a wonderful place to live, Valley City is beautiful.. and not so much wind. Our long winters were a challenge .. we played outside and loved it. Summers warm and humid ..we visited relatives in Montana..fell in love with Montana and vowed to move there. Shorter and warmer winters near Billings.
Hiking, skiing, and camping filled our summers. Some Christmases.. no snow. Been here 42 years.. Lots of Western History and heritage.

I live in Manitoba, Canada and I occasionally travels to Grand Forks and Fargo, before this pandemic. I always love visiting those cities because of the cuisine there that's not available in Canada.
