There is no proper way to disable shorts, even if you use older youtube app version it will either wont be installed due to G-service or else it will auto update itself, I used to use youtube vanced but youtube has forced to update to latest version which has shorts by giving error like not being able to search in searchbar and video description not loading and worst of all an update page with no update later option. TOTAL WORST WE SHOULD HAVE RIGHT TO WHAT WE WANT TO CONSUME.

It’s only temporary, lasts for maybe like an hour before they’re back on your feed again 😒I really wish we could completely turn them off in settings.
