It’s silly but I almost feel bitterness and resentment towards TikTok for creating this standard of short form content. I should be able to have the willpower not to doomscroll but it is just so psychologically addictive somehow, it feels sinister. And it’s not even anyones fault but I literally feel the harm it does and I can only imagine what it’s doing to young kids. I can only hope it doesn’t get worse.

its silly how relieving it feels to finally be able to block shorts. i just spent 5 hours of my life (again) mindlessly watching shorts. i feel like my brain cosistently loses on intelligence when i watch tiktok and especially shorts for so long. my god tiktok, shorts and instagram reels are literally a crime on humanity.

my addiction towards endless and mindless scrolling has been increasing so much and i know at this stage of my life i shouldn't be doing this so I've just deleted Instagram and tiktok and all of my socials a week ago...i didn't delete youtube cause i study from it..god sake i spent 3 hours today just scrolling here on shorts.. can't delete YouTube so here i am 😂
