There are common first job mistakes that could be avoided.

Everyone makes mistakes at work and what matters the most is reflect on them, think on how to recover from it and turn it into a massive opportunity for your career

I started my first job right after dropping out of my PhD. I had no qualifications to be in the job, nor any understanding of what it entails to work in a corporate setup.

Reflecting upon these mistakes made me learn far faster than any other experience could have.

Because I had just dropped out of my PhD, I considered this job to be a blessing. So I never allowed gratitude to leave me. I was perpetually grateful for the opportunity.

Here are my mistakes that will help you ask the right questions in life and be grateful for the nurturing we get in our first jobs.

If you have any questions, do ask them in the comments section below.

Recently completed an internship. And after watching this video, I can say that there was no difference between today's me and Warikoo then. I made all the mistakes he mentioned in the video, the biggest among all was "doing job fast, not right'. Fortunately, I have got an offer from one of the industry leader in my country. Tomorrow will be my first day as an HR officer. After completing internship, I reflected on my journey and figured out what went wrong and what I did well during my tenure. Thank you warikoo and I promise, I will work on all these and become better me.

The best part is that Do's and Don'ts are equally covered to make the audience learn and improve their lives. Keep coming and hats off for being so humble.

9. Be understanding about the company's decision
This is exactly what is wrong with us. We never question any decisions that are forced upon us. Hum bas yahi maan ke chalte hai k agar kiya hai toh kuch soch samjh ke hi kiya hoga. For a decision that we can see is wrong, why should we not question it.
