There are actual reasons for not diagnosing autism in minorities and women. Women are more likely to learn how to compensate behaviour early on, this makes diagnosing way more difficult. And is also the reason a lot of older women do get diagnosed. As for minorities, out some studies it appeared to be mostly an cultural thing. They do not see/want to see the problem, as long as you function, you don't have a problem. The western society has had more focus on labels for as long as we know. Misdiagnosed children aren't an white boy studie problem, they are an result of our society and the way we raise them.
For source's, i am sorry this comes from my therapist, specialist in autism. So i believe him.

That's the most complicated way of framing a problem of sexism towards men as sexism towards women

They are lowering the standards every year. There was a time when autism means something. But nowadays, every intovert and shy people are classified as autistic. I think very soon everyone will be classified autistic.

Why point out the males were white? Aren’t all males male? No need to single the race.

I'm very lucky I don't "have" autism. I "am" Autistic.
