Reset Windows 8 & 8.1 to Factory Default Settings [HD][How To][Tutorial][Step by Step Guide] 2023

Windows 8 gives all users no matter manufacturer or brand an easy way to Reset their PC back to default settings. This quick tutorial shows you how to do just that.

This is outdated you need to click Update & recovery click Recovery and then the reset button is there

Thanks so much i looked at videos but none of them said 1 detail you did about the disc because they all had it pre installed now I know they literally mean THE DISC

Does it give an errors? If not check the event viewer ( alot of info there ) and find the time you tried to reset and it should give you so more information to why it isn't working.

If you have the DVD or know someone who has then you could reinstall using that.

will it set evry thing to factory settings if i click the first one? please someone answer becuse i have a prob, when i download any jar it will not download a jar file it downloads like a picture of a browser that i use and when i click it it just re downloads and i need to fix that prob can someone please tell me if it does reset them

What is the difference between reinstalling windows and doing this? If I'd do this will virusses etc. also dissapear? (I have none that I know of, but just a question.) And I bought this laptop already having windows 8 on it, so I will not be asked for a product/license key?

I did all step carefully in Toshiba laptop but I get an error saying no bootable device, insert boot disk and press any key
