Golfers elbow is a repetitive strain injury... causing microscopic tears in your tendon. You must NOT carry on doing the same exercise that caused it.
You must rest the injury first.. Upto 2-3 months. Heat is the best treatment... getting blood to the injury... to allow the tendon to heal as quickly as possible. Then you have to break down the scar tissue.
Tyler’s twist as in this video... theraband stretches... grip bar.. dumbbell with arm on table.. plus a ultrasound heat machine... you must also scrape the area affected, with a blunt plastic object, like a shoe horn..
I had chronic golfers elbow... caused by serving, playing tennis..
I was able to play again in 3-4 months... using these instructions..
Try it..

Thanks. I just started to suffer from the golfers elbow. After playing/feeding balls to my three boys for around two years all of a sudden it started. And I thought that I am strong in the forearm from my baseball years. Will try these and big thank you will follow if recover. Thanks again

This video is fantastic, thank you! I have a green Flexbar too and after watching your video, I realise that I need to do these Flexbar exercises more regularly to rehab my golfers elbow for my tennis. My cause of pain actually started from the forehand shot. It's been a slow and long process to try and be pain free again.

Fantastic video! Just like you, I injured the inside of my elbow on a tennis serve. It has recovered a couple of times, but then went bad again after playing a few matches. As you know, it's hugely frustrating. It's been close to a year now since the original injury. However, I haven't rehabbed it as well as I should have over that time. I'm going to consistently do those exercises you showed and then give an update over the next couple of months. Want to get back to playing and coaching my son! Thanks!

I got the yellow flexbar as I had tennis elbow and golfers at same time. Now more golfers elbow as radial side of forearm is aggravated from serving which then aggravates my one hand backhand. Still not sure if I need to do flexbar and other strengthening exercises every day or every other day to give tendons chance to recover ? Trying to serve more shoulder over shoulder and stop my elbow like Sampras. My technique needs lots of work. My shadow swings not painful as technique so much better than real serve.

Great video. Im 44 yrs old, 5.0, struggling with a strong GE since 6 months, due i think to many years in the gym.
The pain come exclusivel on my forearm ( movement a bit similar of Thiem ).
I tried flexbar and hundred of exercises, it make worst for me.

Is it possible to heal while still playing?

I got that from my first flat serve. No problem with the second kick serve. What do you think is the problem ? Do I hold the racket too tight? I also started working out with the flexbar, thank you

Cao Milane, great video! I am aware that tendons take time to heal, but I am curious how long it took you to be pain free ? For me, after 8 weeks of golfer's elbow, the niggle is still slightly there. It started after a heavy forehand hitting session, where I felt I was not quite loose enough on some of the shots. I have been using the flexbar, massage and stretching. Also, on the professional circuit, do players just play through injuries like these? I have heard interviews where players say they always have something going on with their body. Unapred hvala!
