We lost a school friend at Hopetoun, presumed to be a victim of a shark. His body was never found. This was in the early 1970's. A tragic losx of a gentle man.

It is so sad when you see the photos and videos of the people who were bitten or killed by these sharks as you realise that they are real people not just stories.

Greetings from Greece. Your videos are very nice.! And very grafic. Fascinating animals, but they're the reason I don't swim in deep waters even in Greece. I hope someday to be able to visit any of those oceans. Only for observation though, because it's their habitat and we are intruders and they might be hungry. Great shark videos. Good pronunsing and even people who speak other languages can understand easily. 🎉👏👏

I do not believe these creatures mistake humans for seals..I ABSOLUTELY do not but it. They are apex predators and are territorial. They kill and don't eat what they kill. They're smart.

The risk people take swimming where there are sharks….is just crazy to me.

As an avid diver living on Okinawa for 4 years I was once attacked by a 4ft long Bull shark, while diving near Naha Naval Base. It was a juvenile but, much bigger Bulls were in the vicinity & very curious about what was happening. The only thing that saved my leg & probably my life was the fact that I grabbed that little shark around its body & held on for dear life to its pectoral fins so it couldn't swim away from me with a chunk of my calf muscle in its mouth. It was the strongest living thing I have ever had a hold of but, I was determined I wasn't letting go of it. Luckily my dive buddies who were Navy Seals & Airborne came over to help me or there is no way I could've hung on to that little Bull shark & would've probably been mauled to death by that shark & others that were beginning to be attracted by the struggling that was going on. We wrestled that little shark to shore in spite of the fight it put up, the condition of my leg, my substantial blood loss & the severe pain I had begun to experience. My friends put the little shark into the pool near the BOQ & rushed me to the hospital where I received excellent drugs & top notch care. Meanwhile, my crew took the baby bull to a bridge connecting two islands across a pretty lagoon. They released the baby shark into the lagoon so they're well aware of where that juvenile bull shark lives. I'll happily move the little devil forthwith, if you wish.

They are intelligent animals. We enter THEiR world. Most attacks are curious because they don't have hands so they can only use their mouth to use to discover what we are. They are wild animals and more intelligent than we give them credit for. If they attack it's intentional for food or learning and we enter their territory. I hate when people are shocked they see or are attacked by sharks in the ocean... "Holy sh!t there are sharks in the ocean." *Insert face palm here* having said that. I'm happy for all who survived. Also, this shark was a tiger, not a white tip. Just throwing that out there.

I just love how some people say it’s better to stay in a safer environment when swimming in the ocean. Well I’m sorry but there’s no such thing as a safe place to swim anywhere in the ocean, whenever you enter the ocean you’re taking a huge risk with getting up close and personal with all kinds of large predators, and unfortunate some of them aren’t to understanding. So the reality is you value your life, and don’t want to gamble with it, then stay out of the ocean, there’s most definitely a good reason why pools were indeed invented!!

Funny how we like to see these things..for me, its very educational..it teaches me NOT to swim where Sharks " might" be, NOT to go in the sea at all, they're everywhere( one was swimming down the River Thames in London!, swimming pools are you're best bet, but if ure a surfer of any kind, then good luck to you!, my life is worth giving up ANY water sport that I may happen to like..everyone is responsible for themselves, so if u go near or by where these crazy overgrown fish are, I'm sorry, I have no sympathy, but for the families of these victims..it should never have happened, oh for some self preservation😢❤

You cant kill every shark that attacks humans. It's there territory. People shouldn't be in the ocean.

It was a typical sunny day of swimming and eating for Bruce, a 25- foot great white. After several days of feasting on the locals of Amity, Bruce was happy. He decided to attack a local fishing boat. It was there, that things took a sudden, horrific turn. Unbenownst to Bruce, a human with an oxygen tank and a rifle was lurking on the boat, and atracked without warning. In a terrifying instant, Bruce felt his whole shark world explode. Tge seas turned red with his blood his remains sank to the ocean floor. Bruce's story is tragic, a reminder to sharks that dangers lurk on fishing boats. These boats must be respected, otherwise like Bruce, they too can meet their Final Affliction.

It's always tragic when there's a shark attack on folks. I get that swimming in the ocean is a risk in itself. However, It doesn't take away the horrific ending to a life. May the victims RIP.

Showing off is a good way to get yourself killed just like being a bully. These are two things that causes a bitter end.
