Thnx for the tip on valerian root tea, Dr. Mandell. I was on a prescription sleep med for 9 years and 4 of that was trying to get off of it. I'm so glad I've learned my lesson and now use only natural sleep inducing practices.

Thank you Doctor. This is the first time in a long time that up and I come across this video. I will give these ideas a try. It's 12:30 am I started my bed time at 9 was awoken at 10 and can't go back to sleep and I need to get up at 5

Find a peaceful place to live.☾ Take a Magnesium, do deep breathing on your back. Sleep nude, but with as many blankets as you need. Power off your phone and put it in another room. Get away from the TV or internet for at least an hour. Thank you, doc♡. Very important subject!☆

Funny you would mention white noise. Both my kids sleep with a white noise fan. One addition, if you have pain either in lower back, hip, shoulder, etc, lay on an electric heating pad for 20 min to relax the muscles. Great info as always!
