Difficult to match enthusiasm of Max on this small incremental change. Usb 2.0 speeds on non pro models is just criminal to force users to use airdrop to transfer files.

And only 3.0 speeds on pro models? Surely should be at least 3.2 and thunderbolt 4 transfer speeds of 40GB/sec. Otherwise what is the point of having 4K video recording and calling it Pro?

So, is this the actual confirmed design? Not to be mistaken with 100% confirmed design, final leaked design, leaked production design and 100% accurate leaked design - which all came before this one.

Will be switching from iPhone 11 Pro to the 15 Pro but I’ve a feeling it won’t be much different (ofcourse the type C). Small incremental increase on newer gen phones are just waste of money to upgrade.

My question would be, Why replace the current volume buttons, which would require using more internal space for haptic engines when that space could be used for other new or better features? What interests me most is better a telephoto to compete with the Galaxy s-series which has 10X digital and 30X and 100X hybrid. Hope the periscope is at least 6X if not 10X!

Will we have periscope or just a 48mp 3x camera?

I feel like the 48mp 3x lens would be much better because once apple starts using that it will only mean when they eventually get 10x they will also have 48mp with that

Meaning it will have 20x hybrid zoom which would be absolutely insane

I expect iPhone replacement cycles are longer now since the carrier subsidies, if they exist at all, seem to be more to get people to sign up for service rather than upgrade phones on existing services and with current pricing, most people cannot replace every year or two. So not surprised Apple has extended the design refresh cycle out to three or four years since they can leverage the existing production infrastructure for longer and build up a larger upgrade base when the new design does drop.

So it’s basically the iPhone 14 with a newish button and usb-c... I still have my iPhone 12 Pro Max and I’m still not seeing much reasons to upgrade

Can anyone tell me what's the difference compared to 14 Pro? The changes are minimal in my eyes.

So it sounds like (okay, looks like) the mute button on the side will not be a slide switch. If it's replaced by a push-button switch, I would think that will make it difficult to tell at a quick glance whether or not the iPhone 15 (Plus or Ultra) is muted.

Why is no one talking about the titanium material being used for 15Pro?? That would be such an upgrade.. imagine not having wrist pain after calling 😻

It looks ok, but coming from the 14 pro max, and looking at what we see here, it does not exactly look like a compelling upgrade .
My 14 PM has a silent switch which I use and like, and for me I actually prefer my phones having some bezel to act as buffer in case I drop the phone.
I care far more for practical durable design rather than trendy but possibly less durable.
And I’m happy they kept the standard volume buttons that work just fine.
But at least the USBc port is some bit of progress.

It seems that the periscope will only be 5X not the ten or 15x everyone was hoping for. This may explain why there is no massive camera bump.
