I agree with everything you said, however, I don’t think every user needs the Pro features.
Personally, I’m on my 3rd year using a regular 11 model, and the only thing I really feel it lacking is the Pro Motion, but that’s just because I have an iPad Pro too, so I can notice when I switch from one device to the other.
I think some users just need a regular iPhone model, because they don’t even use it that much (perhaps they spend more time on their iPad, or their Mac), and they just grab their iPhone when they’re going out.
I think that kind of user can perfectly live with a regular model and spend the rest of the money buying accessories or something else.

Your all points are right brother but I am from India, here iPhone 14 costs approximately 999 dollars (by converting today's rupees in dollars), 14 plus costs 1099 dollars, 14 pro costs approximately 1599 dollars and 14 pro Max costs 1699 dollars which is a huge ammount for middle
(These all prices of base model higher model costs more)

But the point is that most of typicall users actually don’t need these extra features. Ofc pro models are more
”future” proof, but it’s not a big difference. And saving $200 can give you a oportunity to buy accessories like case etc. Still having an iPhone with iOS (which is the main reason to buy iPhone instead of Android)

As someone who sold phones for a living, I can say that most people that come to buy an iPhone don’t care about the features on the pro. A lot of people just want a basic phone and at most a bigger screen. It makes sense to me why they’re expanding the quality gap. People who really love taking photos or people like us who LOVE tech are going to buy the pros.

From all differences you mentioned in the video, the benefit of 3 nm production process of A17 Bionic is the only thing worth paying so much more compared to regular iPhone. And I am talking about power efficiency only, because the computing power is still way above an average user needs, even with A15/A14. ProMotion Display? Nah, won't pay so much for smoother scrolling. Faster USB-C? Well, I don't remember where was the last time I had to send any data via wire. The difference in bezels size is negligible. The weight of titanium frame is almost the same as aluminum, and probably ~90% of users put a case on their phone anyway. There also cameras - if someone wants all whistles and bells, that's okay, but it's good to really think it over.

Basically what I’m hearing is that the regular iPhone is becoming a shit value and pro is getting incredibly expensive. Well... The regular iPhones suck because apple keeps intentionally gimping them so people would buy the more expensive Pro instead. Instead of pushing people to buy the Pro, I'd like to push apple to make the regular a better value.

I think creators forget that with the price of the "pros" you can buy an actual macbook air, or at least here in Europe...they also forget that the "pros" more features are not as great or relevant for the daily user (who cares of thinner bezel or faster charging?) :) Still love your videos, but think of the actual benefits, rather than just looks.

It may be that the price spread between the base iPhone 15 and Pro iPhone 15 jumps to $300 this year. Additionally, one who purchases a Pro iPhone 15 is more likely to spend more on additional memory in order to take better advantage of the additional features. Adding another $100 to $200 at least for that expense results in a $500 difference. So if one does not really need all the additional features of the iPhone 15 Pro models, the base iPhone 15 may be just fine.

The thing is, Apple consumers, in general, don't care about any specific tech specs or additional features; they just want any phone with the Apple logo that can iMessage and facetime. It's that simple. That, and the regular iPhones come in more colors, which appeal to the masses.

Weird video. The vast majority of pro iPhone users don’t even know or care about the features they have access to over the regular iPhone users. I appreciate your channel but it was weird treating pro features like a “must have” in this one. Just throwing more money at it isn’t always the solution.

My first iPhone was the 6 and then I was thinking about 6 plus but why when difference was just little bit better stabilization and size, but when iPhone 8 and X were released I went for the 8 bcz they had same cpus.. and the price of X was little bit too much for me at the time, but then I realized that I made a mistake with 8 and next year I bought the greatest iPhone XS Max in gold and I can say it worth it! I still have it since then without problems with same old battery still good for 1 day usage. And now I wanted to upgrade to 14 Pro but I think after first 15 "ultra" leaks I think that's next true upgrade ❤

I'm in it for the lenses but I've got a bad feeling the periscope feature will remain exclusive to the Max/Ultra for sometime.
