It will all depend on the deals offered this time. The main upgrades that interest me are to the camera, and of course charging simplification by switching to USB c. So I am still in wait and see mode both in terms of how accurate the rumors are and the prices. I hate that they are not bringing all the improvements to the Pro and you have to go Pro Max. I did have the larger version at one point but didn't really like the extra bulk. They have gotten to be smaller overall though since then so we will see. If I do upgrade this year it would definitely upgrade to the Pro Max

Never had an iphone. Never wanted one. And it does shock me that changing a phone's thickness by 0.02mm is even talked about in any sense, let alone counting it as a "change". Im graduating mechanical engineering now and i cant even measure a deviation this small without expensive calipers

1mm narrower - the feeling is noticable. Sure. Idc about 1mm, I am going for the pro Max no matter what. And the pro Max getting 0.9mm narrower is NOT a “quite considerable amount”.
