To the people getting annoyed about sponsored videos: Would you rather pay a fee to watch these videos? I highly doubt it. They say on the video before you even click it that it's sponsored so if you don't like them, just avoid them. Why should they do work for us for free? Most people don't do a job for free unless it's for charity or family. They need sponsorships so they can keep bringing us these videos at no cost to us. Let's all be supportive please :) If you don't like the product they use then just substitute with a brand you like, or just enjoy the video and choose another recipe and realize why sponsored videos are necessary.

I have cooked this dish 5 or six times recently and to my family, exactly as Gennaro shows, using all the same ingredients only using fresh spaghetti rather than dried. And I can say this very quick and simple dish it is absolutely fantastic, full of fresh flavour, not as hot as you would think using the right don't forget that extra knob of butter and oil at the end either as it really does add a creamy texture and taste along with the grated Pecorino and pasta water. Yum!!

You can't get bored of this! Using fresh spaghetti this dish can be cooked and served in 5 minutes! Fast food never tasted so good!

A brilliant recipe. I never understood the use of "pasta water" in dishes until I watched Genaro use it ages ago (Pre youtube days). Thank you Genaro you changed how I cook and changed my appreciation of flavours.

I read all the comments and all I have to say is be thankful that chefs like Gennaro take the time to show you how to cook. Cooking is an individual thing and what's good for one is not for another. Just take it for what it is and keep your negative comments to yourselves. He is a better chef than 99% of you here. I'm a chef and watch other chefs on YT because life is a learning experience and I never stop learning. It is what makes us better chefs. The Italian kitchen is one of the largest in the world. There are so many different delicious foods from every region in Italy and Sicily. Mario Batali is an excellent chef and is a walking encyclopedia of food from the different regions in Italy and Sicily. I learned a lot from him. Same goes for Nick Stellino.

I made this tonight... Sooo good!! Even though you don't think you put a lot of anchovies in there, the flavor that comes out of it when you taste it is definitely there, nice and salty, but not overpowering. Made it with a nice arugula side salad for some extra veggies. Super simple recipe and definitely worth a try! Loved it! <3

I made something very similar to this for lunch today but I used chopped up prosciutto, capers, garlic, butter and Romano cheese

Okay but 4 tiny cloves of garlic and one average sized chilli WILL NOT do it for me lmao. I use a bunch of garlic and like 2 chilli. I like tons of flavour and spice. LOVE this recipe! The simplicity!
