I think the EXTREME ZOOM is to hide the fact that Gordon isn't cooking these. I love watching them though. Slightly too heavy handed on the zoom still tho~

PASTA WITH TOMATOES, ANCHOVIES, AND CHILES
(Serves 4)
1 pound dried spaghetti or linguine
Olive oil
2–3 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped
1 dried red chile, crumbled or chopped into small pieces
One 2-ounce tin anchovies in oil, drained and finely chopped
8 ounces pitted black olives, roughly chopped
3 Tbsp capers, drained and rinsed
8 ounces cherry tomatoes, halved
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Basil leaves, to garnish

I'm not sure who the camera guy is, but someone really needs to explain to him that full zoom isn't necessary. Guy puts the entire pan under a microscope every single video.

This is even better if you use bucatini in place of spaghetti, the thin sauce gets into the hollow part of the bucatini, more flavor in your pasta.
