Spencer: “so what did I do to have this glow up?” * *points at head* *
Me: thinking it’s something to do with her hair

She’s honestly right, mindset literally has everything to do with it! Story time to prove it:
I used HATE how I looked, I was chubby and I had no confidence and I thought everyone else knew it too. But one day I went to the mall with my mom and I saw this outfit on one of those faceless statues (idk what they’re called lol english ain’t my first language) and I thought to myself “damn I’m never gonna look good in that” and low behold, I saw a woman TWICE MY SIZE come out of the changing room in that same outfit and D A M N I thought that she looked fine as hell and bruh the look on her face said that she knows she’s hot too.
That’s when I came to the conclusion that it’s all about mindset, had the woman came out of that changing room feeling insecure or bad, I might not’ve felt that way about her.

So accept your beauty for what it is, if you don’t like what you wear: CHANGE IT! Finding what clothes you love yourself in is one of the most important things, it’s not about dressing good, it’s about dressing YOU, make sure YOU love what you’re wearing! Even if you gotta start with window shopping to even figure out that, a first step is still a step!

If you don’t like how you look weight wise (you think you’re too big or too skinny): go talk to a dietitian and explain your situation to them, I’m more than sure they can help you find a way to help you reach your most confident you, and talking to a professional will help make sure you do it in a healthy empowering way!

Showering: I’m not lying, not being a stinky mess helps a lot lol!

HAIR(my fav): a persons hair is their pride, whether it’s styling it or just taking good care of it, it’s always important!

Mindset: 👏LITERALLY EVERYTHING THIS QUEEN SAID👏!

None of this stuff is easy either, it’s good to have a healthy support system, whether it be friends or family it doesn’t matter!

You have to want these changes, really look at yourself and don’t think of what you hate, but think what what you can do to improve it, your body is a temple, it’s your canvas, it’s you! Take care of your body, your mind, and your heart no matter who you are you deserve to be happy, you deserve to be your best you.

I am so impressed with this young woman. She is a shining beacon of light in a sea of darkness. I’m probably more than twice her age and I wish I would’ve learned all of the things she seems to have already grasped when I was that young.

I respect her with all of my heart here is why:

She is speaking facts
She knows how to make people feel better
She understands how to love herself

Thank you for your time :)

I am a guy and we are expected to not show any emotion and be tough all the time but all we really want is to be loved by someone other then our parents but since we are expected to be like this it kinda hardens us on the outside and makes it a little harder to open up to other people and show out true colors.

I have literally never been so confident and ok mentally in my entire life. And I have Spencer to thank for that. Now when ever I feel like crude I don’t cry into my pillow or give up, I get up and learn from my mistakes and do my best not to repeat them. Thank you Spencer ❤

As a guy it's so refreshing to see a girl who is confident in herself enough to say "screw looking like the trendiest celebs and screw dressing like them..I love me! I love who I am!" Ugh so attractive! I literally watch her video just because I love her vibe lol

This girl is so amazing she is part of the little part of society that still has self respect for theirselves and knowing that they are enough and she understands what society is doing to everyone

Yes yes yes yes. The media and society can give us a skewed look at what a glow up is. Honestly it's just being more confident and loving yourself and not 'being humble' by hating yourself. ❤️
