A lot of companies of these products recommend letting your skin chill (no makeup or heavy products) for the next 24 hours since youre possibly opening your skin up to infection or bacteria that could make you break out. I always shave my face on friday nights after a shower so my skin can chill without anything on it for the weekend (:
