When you need to wash the pad do you have to replace the tape?

Keep about 4” of ground rod above the dirt. It keeps the clamp from getting filled with weeds-dirt-etc.

My only concern is lightning. Are there options to avoid the bolt current running to the bed??

Best to use ground from house outlet. Also, make sure sheets & pajamas are natural made materials not synthetic. Just sayin...

Hi. These metal tapes are not available in my country. Could you tell me if ESD mats or Anti-static mats be used on the beds for grounding? That would be a cheap alternative to buying expensive grounding mats and also save me the trouble of making one. Thanks!

You can also use a electrode patch and connect to that.

If you live in the USA, there’s already two grounding rods 6’ apart 10 feet long connected to the ground and cold water bonds in your house. So every outlet has a good ground. Cut the hot and neutral tabs off a plug and Connect a copper wire to this same setup in your bedroom. That short piece of copper isn’t getting deep enough to reach the grounded shelf inside the earth. That is why the two grounding rods are 10’ deep and they’re 6’ apart to prevent displacement of electromagnetism to your service panel.

What happens during a lighting storm though? Do you have to unplug it from the ground? Very interested

Do you need that much tape? Can you just put a single strip? Is it a problem that you're not directly touching the tape?

You better drive that rod about 4 feet down if you want to keep it moist to conduct more negative ions to your bed. Also are you sure the tape overlapping the other pieces are conducting through the adhesive? Good video

So does electricity run through copper wire attached to a copper rod and all you have to do is be in contact with the wire and you’re grounded?
