AWESOME, thanks brother, I'm without a truck right now, this is brilliant and saved my trim until I can replace it in the future, I smashed that thumbs up!

This is a well timed video for me, reminded me that I still had an unused brown tube (UV protection) of wood filler, which I used as you described. It filled the gaps & looks a whole lot better than before. This issue was caused by water splashing back from the concrete flooring. I have now installed guttering & downpipes to catch the rain water, as we seem to have lots of rain in the UK recently.

Why all the hate in the comments? Basically the same as epoxy as far as wood breathing...right? If you want to take your truck, spend more money, carry a heavy piece of sheet siding home, set up saw horses, break out the saw, etc, ahead. I myself can't. easy, and inexpensive will work for me. Thanks for the video. 💗

Went and got tubes of liquid nails today. I saw 2 different places on the internet that says it will flex with expansion and shrinkage of wood ....hard to believe, but that's what it said...added plus.
For the really bad spots, I got some wood hardener (wood petrifier) and two part wood epoxy. The wood hardener can be brushed, squirted, or sprayed onto somewhat crumbly bad wood and it will bind with the wood fibers and make it very hard. This will allow me to add the wood epoxy or scrape the liquid nails on it without disturbing the bad wood.
One day I will probably pay someone to replace my sheet siding, but for now this will save my structure.🙂

This is I have a very old home and was dreading replacing all the rotten wood. This is a perfect fix. I assume it’s best to scrape away the old paint, and sand a bit first?

sure it's good for cosmetic purposes but the rot still there, Probably not structurally safe to do this on load bearing wood members but for trim this is pretty neat. Right on.

Only thing the wood is rotted through. It will just break off because structural strength isn’t there.

Does this work with Stains - I have damaged wood that needs repair and I'm staining the wood around the damaged area with solid stain?

And even a cheaper solution is not doing anything and just never looking at the rotted wood...

Very helpful....going to definitely get some liquid nails to repair the bottom of one of my shingles and then paint over it.

board would cost you about 3 bucks and literally 10 mins to replace. Just saying.
