This presentation is great. I found I needed to set the clock at 1 MHz to get to upload the boot loader and load sketches. I had followed another video to add the boot loader and program a ATTINY85 and they used a 1MHz internal clock setting. Still this presentation was very good on the details and was a great help. Thank you!

I really really thank you. I've read enough threads and yet didn't completly understood what I was doing. I got my mind straight with your guidance. At first I couldn't burn it. I had results like my arduino got crazy. I managed to verify that my arduino kept working and the next day when I tried again ( following your steps ) It finally worked. I don't know what I could not make it work at first, but is working now.

At the first part when you upload the "ArduinoISP" sketch to the Arduino Uno, you had the programmer set to "Arduino as ISP" instead of AVRISP mk.II. Is that correct? I know you should set it to "Arduino as ISP" when you want to program the Attiny itself but to upload the "ArduinoISP" sketch it's for the Uno itself so it should be AVRISP mk.II right?
