DO NOT remove a tick like that! Don't break off the head or leave it in. Remove it whole. And then make sure the animal gets an immediate vet check. In some countries Lyme disease is no joke, and here, in Australia, the Paralysis Tick can kill within hours. By the time you notice them staggering or struggling to breath it's often too late.

Please don’t twist the tick!! Twisting makes it more likely that part of the tick will break off in the skin and cause and infection or that it will regurgitate saliva/blood into the host making it more likely to transfer any diseases it’s carrying including Lyme disease. You should grab it at the base and pull or use something like a tick key to slide it off.

You should never twist ticks to pull them off. Twisting them makes it so that their head can still be inside the animal/human and can lead to infection or disease. Always pull ticks straight out

Grab the tick as close as possible to the skin (ideally it’s head), and pull it off without twisting.

I know a few people have probably commented this, but do try to get the entire tick off, including head (if you pull straight away from the body they usually come off in one piece). Otherwise I love your videos so much, you always do such an incredible job, the dogs always look so neat afterwards, and they mostly seem relaxed around you (or in this case, very relaxed)

Poor Daffedevil! Thank goodness for dog parents who understand that their fur baby may need to be a little more chill sometimes, and groomers like Logan who really seems to love each and every one of his clients!

She’s so cute Daf-o-devil?? Cute. She was well behaved. You always get them to look sweet at the end. Thanks!

The kisses at the end though 🥺. That has to be the best part, when the doggo thanks you afterwards with affection. I am a sucker for animal kisses, and strangely even the dogs who " NEVER give kisses" according to their humans tend to give me kisses 🤷🏻, either I taste good or me petting them was unlike anything they have ever felt before 😅. I tend to do more of a stronger massage like pet, I like the way the fur feels and I base it off their reactions. And maybe I give off this fact like a neon sign for doggos because strange dogs will come right up to me seeking attention, stunning some owners. Especially when their dog is stranger reactive and they come prancing up to me plopping down in my path and flipping belly up. I go by the rule " If you present a floofy belly to me I Have to rub it. It is bad luck if you don't." And I do get quite a few dogs on walks that seek out my attention, even talk to dogs left in vehicles during comfortable/safe weather, tell them how good they are defending their car, some dogs will go from protective to confused to trying to get my attention and praises 😂😂. So many owners have come out to their cars laughing at their dog's reaction to my praising them. Also you can tell those walking dogs who their doggo is to them by their reactions to my " AWE Look at the Baby!" Out the car window as we drive past, those where their animal is their Family Member/child/best friend they smile and say thanks. IF that doggo is just a pet/dtatus symbol they look at me like I have 10 heads each more hideous and demonic then the last 😂😂😂😂😂. It's like "Yes Karen I just called your 180Lb Beast of a dog a Baby, because HE IS A Sweet Little Baby, I mean just look at him!"😂😂😂 Animals are NO Different than people, they feel and love just like we do.

Ooooof, NEVER twist like this when you remove a tick. Slowly pull and attempt to get the whole thing in one go. The reason is that if you leave the tick's head, there could be an increased risk of infection at the bite site.

Also don't pop them unless you do it after removing it for whatever reason. Otherwise diseased blood could be deposited back into the dog.

"Its not necessary, I just feel like they deserve it"

Bruh that's the kind of energy I need my vet to have

Thank you for saying "impulsive thoughts" rather than intrusive thoughts. The OCD community appreciates you 💜

DaffaDevil is so quite and patience. He knows that he would be fine during the grooming. Now it is done. He is very pleased with the treatment 🎉 Thanks brother ❤

Old English sheepdogs are so adorable with their hair but they’re so much work. We used to shave ours as well because damn, you’d have to brush them every 2 hours 🥲

I love how you said Impulsive thoughts and not the common social media misconception of saying “intrusive thoughts” they are not the same, thank you

I remember some of your earlier content with Daffodil and she has made remarkable progress. Kudos to you for your hard work and to her parents for actually keeping her on a routine so she can make better associations and be calmer.

You shouldn't pull ticks out like yha. Try saturating a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and hold it on the tick until it backs out and can be removed safely.😊

Please NO TWISTING the tick; creates much more dangerous side effects for dog. Remove tick off in entirely by suffocating or using heated hemostat (being very careful not to burn dog). Avoids infection, Lyme disease inoculation, etc. Stay safe.
