I started playing guitar on January 1st as my New Years resolution to play one hour or more of guitar this year. I followed lessons 1 through 16. I did all the warm-up exercises and played this song from January 15th to today (February 6th). Today is the first day i was able to play in time with you for the duration of the song. Im moving on tomorrow through the rest of the lessons in this series. It didn't even mess me up when you played that part of the riff wrong 😊. Thanks again for a great series, and i would recommend anyone who has made it this far continue because these lessons absolutely work. May everyone reading this have a wonderful day.

Hi Dan! I have been following this course after picking up my acoustic after 3 years, and I am so glad I did!! Im feeling much more confident in my strumming and fret changing. However, since I can't really afford the course, Ive written out the bar charts that are used in the video on paper and it really helps! Thanks for teaching me from scratch ❤

This is over a year old so this comment may not be relevant. First of all, wanna say - amazing course. It's making it a lot better for me to learn the guitar than to just randomly learn individual songs.

Only feedback I would give is having the chord chart edited into the video so it's easy to follow. Especially with the riff (the individual stings bit) because it's hard to just keep track based on the fingers. It would just make it really seamless.

Other than that, great job! Thanks for the content.

Wow! I was just sitting here thinking about my first class compared to today. I could actually follow along with you about 80 to 90% of the time during the song. I’m amazed, once I got over the hump of changing chords while strumming, I gained so much more confidence and I can see how practice pays off.

Still going strong. I nail the transitions but, every now and then, I fumble the bar count. Sometimes I'll play the main part for just three bars but only realize after I've moved on to the chorus.

B7 chord sounds weird to me. My guitar is in tune and I keep re-checking that my fingers on on the right frets, but it sounds unpleasant. It’s clear, but it sounds off like one of the notes doesn’t belong.
