So much more than simply caring a baby in a womb.

I’m on baby #5. I never experienced the metallic taste or smells till now. I wasn’t even supposed to be able to get pregnant again. I went in to my OB to sign my paperwork to get my tubal procedure done and found out I was 7 weeks pregnant. On top of this, I still had my IUD in. I’ll be 3 months in a few days. My Mom used to say if a Man even sneezed to close to me, I’d get pregnant 😂😂😂 After my 1st 2 babies, I was told I wouldn’t be able to have anymore. Then, I was told that after my 3rd and 4th babies😂. I’m not taking anymore chances with birth control bc this makes 3 babies born on that crap and soon as this 1 comes out, I’m having my tubes removed immediately. I am scared though bc, my babies keep coming earlier and earlier and they’re getting smaller in weight as well. My biggest was my 1st and he was 6lb 5oz and my last baby, who is 2 now weighed 4lbs and was only 3.5 when i took her home.

Man, love your woman, for she gives birth, and her body changes and needs your support and understanding when her hormones become unbalanced.

Another useful fact is after you give birth your belly doesn't magically disappear 😅😅

As soon as she mentioned the heighten sense of smell, it brought back memories. My husband and I could only use unscented soaps (so we used baby soap and unscented everything else). The smell of everything made me so sick. No spices, on anything. And let’s not forget the big bottle of Tums and extra pair of underwear in our bags (tums for the nonstop heartburn and underwear in case I sneezed and gawd forbid laughed 🙄).

With my first pregnancy I didn't experience any discomfort other than the occasionally morning sickness and sleepiness BUT my second one- the nausea and not eating well, my back hurting/upper back tension, insomnia, upper abdomen discomfort due to the intestines sitting on the top, constantly tired, infections, and just got diagnosed with gestational diabetes so I can't indulge in my cravings!

When i was pregnant i swear my pelvis got wider (and im not talking about fat here) and even weirder, my ribcage definitely got wider too. I'm very petite and thin so it was very easy for me too notice. Im used too take my measurements a lot, so i confirmed it too.

I had two unsusal things on my 3rd that I had no idea was even a thing until it happened
1. Because of the hormones, I had hypersalivation, an excess amount of saliva, like it took about 4 seconds for my mouth to fill up with spit, and swallowing it was making me puke, it was horrible and lasted the entire pregnancy 🤢
2. I went up a shoe size, permanently. I was a size 5 (UK) and went up to a size 6, he'll be 3 next month and I'm still a size 6! Had to buy all new shoes, luckily I'm not a big shoe person, so only really had to buy 2 or 3 new pairs

Pregnancy glow. lol. Yeah def have not experienced that. Especially with my younger daughter. My skin was a terrible mess and I became allergic to water. Took months after giving birth for the allergy to subside and my skin to go back to normal.
