PMS basically is early pregnancy (progesterone elevating to provide endometrium to the baby). Except if there's no baby the "pregnancy" is "cancelled". I believe all of these symptoms are caused by the elevation in progesterone.

I had no symptoms with my son . I just took at test because i was late and it was negative, then when I went to wrap it up and put it in the bin I saw a line. I was so shocked !! With my daughter I was cramping, everything tasted horrible and I was sleeping constantly from the jump.

It feels more like pregnancy during perimenopause. When I was “ of child bearing” age, I felt the difference between PMs and pregnancy! I could tell if I was pregnant by the time my period was due. pregnant
