Take a nice deep breath. Count your blessings. I remind myself what’s the alternative to aging. I’ll take aging.

Good afternoon! I’m 56 years old and really appreciate this topic. Although I am heavily into eating well (in fact sipping my berry smoothie with alfalfa sprouts and oatmeal with hemp seed hearts now) I have yet to jump into exercise. I try very hard to get good sleep but last two years as a nurse have taken their toll. I DO get 7-9 hours sleep yet have not been great about exercise. I do adore going to the estheticians office for RF or microneedling … whatever I’m into that month. I write all this to let you know that you DO have some older women out here who listen to and love you to pieces. This topic is welcome.

More people need to embrace aging and be healthy as much as possible. We are all here temporarily so try to live life not worrying about looks. Other people play a big role in that too.

Our society has a huge problem with getting old. I would like to age in peace.

Even just a little bit of exercise makes such a difference in your health. So many people have an all-or-nothing mentality that prevents them from exercising because they don’t have the time or energy to spend an hour in the gym every day. Get moving however you can!

I really appreciate that you make sure to keep addressing the damage that alcohol does to our skin and overall health. When I first started watching your videos I was still drinking and I'm sure I just kind of eye rolled through those parts, but having given up alcohol for almost a year now and having learned how truly bad it is for you, I'm so appreciative of the people out there, like you, who are willing to go against our societal obsession with alcohol and tell the hard truth about it. Thank you for that.

As another 56 year old, you have made a huge difference in how I think of and treat my skin. It's never looked better! Thank you!

You're absolutely correct about will age you like crazy. My mom always looked 20 years younger than her age...my mother in law always looked 20 years older than her age. Plus smoking screws up your gums, which causes tooth loss....that ages you as well.

I’m 27 and just had my second baby, I recently noticed in the mirror that my face structure looks more mature and I actually love it. With Sun protection measures and keeping the skin hydrated, I don’t mind aging in a beautiful way.

My sisters friend is studying his PHD on age reversing effects of SPF. I have seen this first hand on my own skin thanks to Dr Dray! 😍

As a woman in my in my 50's I regret the things I did to my skin in my 20's. If I had known then what I know now I would have done alot different. But.... Since I can't change that I am so glad that I found your channel.

I was thinking about this recently. I'm 39 and I don't have wrinkles but I look older somehow. This has been helpful to pinpoint why. I definitely see a difference in my face when I have a stricter workout regimen in my life.

Dr Dray has made a huge impact on me through this video with regards to smoking and skin aging. My incentive to quit smoking was permanent body hair removal, but I wasn't a candidate for laser therapy. So I continued smoking. Well now I'm quitting and for good, I'll be 45 in a couple months. And when I turn 46 I'll be a non smoker for over a year and my new reward is to repair the damage caused by smoking. I have a plan to make this happen and also very competitive so I know can quit and This is the incentive I need.

The sleep thing is so tough because it is completely out of my control. I have had a severe sleep disorder for 12 years now that I think will be with me forever so I do everything possible for my skin to keep it healthy! Exercise, eat healthy, wear sunscreen and use retinoids. Do the things that you can control but don’t beat yourself up over the things you can’t control.

I have chubby cheeks and always hated it but then again I got it from my grandma and she looked way younger than she was.
