It's NOvember 12th and I have an important and inspiring "NO" for you.

This one is all the way from #greece and the wonderful Aga Bajer.

If you don't know Aga's work, it is definitely worth checking it out. She is an organizational culture uber-expert.

And if you're the audio type, check out Aga's podcast, The Cuture Lab.

Ok, on to our "no." And it's a tough one.

Aga is encouraging us to say "no" to indifference.

There are people we walk by each day, in the office, on the streets, maybe even in our homes, without noticing.

We don't notice that they
need us to stop
need us to see them
need us to connect

We don't notice because we're too
self-absorbed
focused
bizzzzzzzyyyyyy!!!

Listen to Aga talk about why indifferent is the worst thing we can be.

Where should you be looking?
Who craves your attention?
When will you reach out?

Say "no" to indifference.

About me:
I've never climbed Mount Everest (and never will). So far, I've never been in space. I don't even have an Olympic gold medal (although I did win the Grade 9 Phys Ed award). But the prize for solving the most difficult team challenges is named after me (no, not really, but someday it probably will be).

For the past 25 years, I've researched and advised teams on how to achieve high performance. Known as the “teamwork doctor,” I've worked with teams from the frontlines to the boardroom, across a variety of industries, and around the globe from Boston to Bangkok. In working with hundreds of teams, including 26 Global Fortune 500 companies (and counting), I've developed a unique perspective on the challenges that teams face – and how to solve them.
