Okay but the macaroni one, Phoenix was entirely in character. He is absolutely like that.

We laugh at the macaroni bit, but we AA players basically do the same thing by Pressing literally every statement every witness makes in every game.

FOUR MINUTES ON MACARONI.

And prosecutors accuse Phoenix of stalling for time...

"When you ate dinner, did you eat it on a plate?
"A-as opposed to the *floor?*"
That had me in tears. It sounds like a genuine Ace Attorney joke rebuttal LMFAO.

I'm very curious to know if it's ever been proved in any case that an autopsy was performed on a living person seeing as so many lawyers seem to try and argue that

I hate how I felt frustrated for not seeing “Joe Mama” after the end of at least one “Joe who?”

So am I the only one who thinks the "How many macaroni" bit actually sounds like the kind of thing that would be in a real AA game?

I asked a professional lawyer why they do this after they helped me with a car case (which by the way should have been so simple to explain to the court), and he said "by asking a series of inane (dumb) questions it desensitizes (softens) the mind and can lead someone to say anything without thinking about it too hard.

... Fucking brilliant!

I'm honestly curious to know what context that macaroni conversation could possibly have come up in, and also what the lawyer's point was in trying to find out how many macaroni he ate.

Okay but the macaroni one is straight up just how Pheonix does things.

Please, I'm going to go insane if I don't get any context about the fucking Mac and Cheese argument ending with 500 fucking cops storming that guys house, even if its just the name of the case, or the whole massive transcripts of the court records I NEED to know what that was even about.

The cornered theme that you put in during “How many Macaroni” perfectly describes how stupid that lawyer made themself sound without realizing it. Even their damn partner could practically feel the stupidity radiating from every single question they asked.

I love how the entire Macaroni debacle genuinely sounds like something Phoenix would do in an attempt to buy time or find a hole in the testimony.

Next time you have to include "I'm not a cat"

Your content is very inspiring to me. I'm a teen law student who is being trained to be a juvenile attorney and I really like the way you portray these dumb court antics. Sometimes it really makes me believe that court isn't as intimidating and killer as I thought it'd be. Thank you for all the laughs.

I wonder how many cases were based on the lawyer asking if the autopsy was performed on a living body. Like are you suggesting that the person that did the autopsy killed them? That’s the most ace attorney thing ever

The fact that he kept asking about the macaroni even after he was told that it was stupid is what got me
