Chocolate, Hazelut & Orange Tart! Welcome to my lesson about this amazing tart, this recipe is packed full of tips and tricks to improve your pastry skills. Happy Cooking!

RECIPES:

INGREDIENTS
140g Unsalted butter
90g Icing / Powered sugar
65g Roasted & skinned hazelnuts
180g Plain / all purpose flour
Pinch of salt (1/5 of a teaspoon)
1/3 of the zest of 1 orange
1 egg
365g Dark chocolate (between 48% & 70% cacao content)
400ml Whipping cream (30% fat content)
85g Cubed cold unsalted butter

EQUIPMENT
-Sheet tray / baking tray
-Medium sized mixing bowl
-Silicon spatula / whisk / wooden spoon
-Pastry ring / Pastry case / Spring form tin (25 cm / 10 inches in diameter)
-Parchement / Baking paper
-Large heat proof mixing bowl
-Fine grater (Microplane etc)
-Blowtorch or small hot knife
-Long bladed knife

Tried that hazelnut trick, it worked pretty well. 🙂 180°C is too high though, nuts started burning on the 7th minute or so, I'll do 150 next time.
