FAQs??

-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?

This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?

Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

-How much yarn do I need?

Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

-What equipment do you use?

-What do you do for a living?

Being a lefty, I was told for years that 'left handed people can't crochet'. Well, finally, I have achieved the impossible! You are a great teacher, and I am so happy to have acquired a new skill.... Thank-you!

first time I tried to crochet (cuz my friend accidently bought me a crochet hook instead of a knitting needle) and it turned out amazing. I've checked other videos but either the finished product didn't look as I wanted it to be or they didn't make sense to a newbie like me, but yours is perfect!! Thanks so much!!

since from childhood I thought that knitting is very beautiful and very difficult to do, I am very much interested in but I didn’t try. My grandma taught me how to do a single chain.and that knowledge and your beautiful video helped me to do a coaster it’s a big achievement for me. Dream come true.Thank you so much.

Thank you for this simple project. As you know, crochet is a highly therapeutic activity and I used it with my patients with depression and anxiety or poor self esteem. In Occupational therapy, we use crafts as tools to treat people with different conditions. I like simple /short projects and you are a great resource to me. Thank you!

I started with crochet last night for the very first time in my life and this was my first project. It took me 5 or 6 tries to get it right and I finally did it! Yay! It's so pretty! You explain so good and detailed. Thank you so much!

Love this video, the first crocheting tutorial I could actually follow. Love how you do everything step by step and explain everything numerous amounts of times so we could get it.

Just delightful. Love your clear concise instructions BUT what I love most is your UK terminology. Thank you so much.

I have to be transparent for a minute. My mom made this coaster when I was much younger. She did her best i am sure, but seeing her work with my eyes, now that I know how to crochet, and seeing your pattern also for this coaster makes me see my mom's mistakes. I am glad I can do this because I can replicate it and show my work to my mom. Cannot wait to try it.

I really really like your
1) You have great lighting and video quality.
2) You do not go too fast while showing stuff, you do not cover your work as you are working everything is paced really nicely.
3) You explain stuff and then go on to do it instead of doing everything at once.
4) You mention both the American and English versions.
5) The best past of all!! You mark where one needs to pause in order to continue.
I really do appreciate the videos and the way in which you have filmed them because it makes it really easy to follow along. I dislike videos where people crotchet so fast its impossible to follow along. (repeatedly pausing to catching up and then failing to find the right spot to continue from!!!!) I am glad I found you on Youtube!
Have a lovely day!

Your demo was GREAT! Everything I've made to date has been square or rectangular. This is my first attempt at something else. This pattern has given me the confidence to start searching to a lot of new projects. P.S. thanks for noting both US and UK terms!

I’ve been crocheting for only a month and I’ve made my first granny square blanket with your patterns and videos. Honestly the easiest channel to follow for beginners like myself 💕💕💕

This is one of the first coasters I learned to make, through watching your video tutorial, and it remains my favorite. I mostly make them as gifts and the recipients are always so pleased. Thank you!
