You can learn How to Crochet for Beginners - Right Hand in this video tutorial. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I'll show how to crochet for beginners! This is the Right Hand video. I have a Left Hand video too on my channel.

In this tutorial you will learn how to pick the best yarn for your first time. Plus the best size crochet hook to use. I’ll show you two ways of holding the crochet hook. And I’ll demonstrate how to hold the yarn. At the end you will learn how to make a quick, easy, and simple dish cloth.

Next, you will learn the very first stitch in crochet called a slip knot. Afterwards you will learn how to make a chain, which is an important foundation stitch. We oftentimes use abbreviations for the stitches that are used in crochet patterns. For example, chain is abbreviated as CH.

Then you will learn how to make a single crochet stitch (SC), which is one of the basic stitches of crochet. And then you will learn how to turn your work to go to the next row. Finally, you will learn how to finish your work and sew and weave in the ends. Did I mention I’ll also show you how to fix your work if you make a mistake?

Most people, including myself, find both crochet and knitting be a stress reliever. It’s hard to think about anything else when you are very busy counting your stitches! Plus there are so many beautiful types of yarn out there.

I cannot express how helpful this video was, I've looked at so many crochet tutorials and this is the most underrated one. I had a really hard time figuring out exactly what I'm supposed to be doing, and this video had the best explanation and demonstration, so thank you very much for teaching me.

In my Opinion, this video helped so much! The way each sentence was worded made it so much easier to follow along. I constantly use this simple method and if you ever need a refresh, I definitely recommend this video! No one/video had ever managed to teach me until I watched this!!! Thank you so much 😘

My daughter loves your channel and has taught herself to crotchet. I'm so proud of her. She's in her forties but picks things up very quickly. I'm jealous of her 😏

I've literally only just mentioned the idea of starting to learn how to crochet and my dad got me some stuff to practice with despite me having no previous knowledge. After watching this I'm shaking with excitement to start practicing :D

After about 3 hours I was able to make 7 chains. It may be crooked and my finger is on fire, but I’m super proud of myself! I tried this a few months ago and immediately gave up. I’m proud that I didn’t give up this time! Don’t give up! Practice makes perfect (or at least in my case, somewhat perfect 😂)

I feel like being a good teacher is a talent or a carefully studied craft. Most people are terrible teachers. They either go too slow or too fast or their pace is fine but they skip many important details because they forgot what the beginner perspective is. I feel like your pace and amount of details were perfect. I barely had to rewind to catch on to what you were saying and no amount of information was left in the dark but you also didn’t drone on as though talking to a toddler or wanting to hear your own voice like 95% of youtube tutorials. So work and thank you!

I used to know how to knit and crochet when I was like 7 years old to 13 years old, because I didnt have a phone of course and I was in the hospital and didnt know what else to do. It was fun! I'm turning 17 this week lol, and I decided to go get some yarn and crochet needles. I still have my knitting needles! I'm loving picking these skills back up (they're very useful in theatre) and thank you for the video! It came naturally, so I guess it was in the back if my mind all along. The only thing is that I dont know how to switch colors in order to do like a rainbow..Any tips for that?

This is the best crochet instruction video I have ever found! I picked up knitting easily about 15 years ago, but failed crochet every time I tried. You just fixed me lol! This is great!

This was so good! All the other "beginner videos" don't start from the VERY basics like you did, I appreciate it!
