I am currently a lieutenant in a large metropolitan police department, but I remember my police academy experience like it was yesterday! It was filled with ups and downs, positives and negatives, but it was all worth the suffering to achieve my ultimate end goal! In this video, I share with you what to expect in the police academy process. From the physical requirements and training to being pepper sprayed, tased, and passing the physical agility course. I also discuss the firing range, EVOC, and SWAT week!

I went through 17 years ago. I was shocked how easy it was. I actually lost fitness in the academy. I remember only studying for the final state test, the rest was cake. EMT school was much harder imo.
