What’s up guys.

Today I decided to take you on a little journey with me of what a day in my life looks like as a police cadet. In this video I would pretty much show you how my day starts from the house, to getting breakfast and the stuff we do as police cadets which is mostly class room work or whatever the schedule dictates. I hope you like this video and I tried my best to cut as many parts as possible so it doesn’t end up being too long. Hope this helps someone who is also trying to take this path of life or someone who is just curious as to what a day in a police cadet life looks like.

If you loved this video and/or you want to see more content (police academy content to be specific at least for now)— make sure to LIKE, COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE and of course turn on POST-NOTIFICATIONS. Show some love to the channel.

I try to drop my videos on this channel every week, but sometimes the job demands a little more and that sorta messes up with my posting timeline.

Peace and love to everyone.

The fact you were able to even film this shows me how relaxed this academy is lol. My academy wouldnt even let us have our phones on our person for the entire 21 weeks we were there. No hate or anything though, we all do the same job in the end so keep striving man

I graduated from the academy in 2011. Although I didn't get hired on with law enforcement, it was one of the best achievements in my life. Very proud of it.

This academy is so relaxed man compared to mine. We got screamed and yelled at for the first two months then after a while we earned little privileges like snack time and stuff. I didn’t get to go out and get lunch at all we had to bring lunch we had no refrigerator or a microwave. Plus I had to shave my head and couldn’t start growing my hair back until the middle of the Academy but my hair couldn’t be but a inch and a half long military fade. I missed my waves and I’m still trying to get my waves back lol.

Good stuff man. I appreciate the energy at your academy. Your boy in your class that is sitting next to you definitely trains pulling his sidearm when he is watching TV. That boy is ready for patrol. Best luck to all of you.

This is so cool!! I currently live in Louisiana and I’m trying to get into law enforcement too so I’m trying to get on with another department but I’ve always wondered and thought about doing a vlog but I just don’t know what to really talk about and I’m kinda camera shy so I’m very excited to see this!!

Great video. I was a Police Officer in Baltimore City, Maryland for 20 years. I was a Marine for 20 years I’m retired and wish I had never left

My police academy experience was totally different.
You shaved your head the entire time in the academy, you wear suits until you’re given the privilege to wear the academy uniform (smurfs).
You don’t get to actually wear an actual police uniform until the week prior to graduation.
The PT is very military like.
You don’t speak and chat in the hallways, only in the class room when the instructor is gone or allows us to talk (mostly about studying).
Or you can chat in the break room but not all loud.

We had to stand at attention when there was an instructor passing us or if the instructor or our DI walked in the classroom when we’re not in class setting.

The DI’s would smoke (make you PT) if someone messed up or was late.

We definitely didn’t have time to go out to get some food.
We ate the lunch we brought and it had to be ate usually after PT and shower, so we would have like 5 min to scarf the food down.

No cell phones, no sun glasses, people had to cover up their tattoos and obviously no facial hair.

The discipline was honestly great. Felt like we worked as a team and for a goal. People kept others in check.
We had a class leader, quad leaders and class president.
Everyone knew what the task the next day was and knew they should be prepared to be on top of their game. Everybody looked sharp and squared away.

It’s definitely interesting to see how different academies are around in diffident states.

Our local 6 month course here in SE Texas is 6 months & super laid back. We have way too many overweight cadets down here. No polishing or "Military" type inspections or training
