Many companies on the black market will offer permanent removal.

simply holding the audio mute button on the steering wheel for a couple of seconds will turn the warning sound off immediately - that is the quickest way (at least in 2024 facelift models)

HI Brian, thanks for this video, a single button switch off would be great way to solve the problem for the intelligent speed limit assist, however this way does seem a better option than what I have found so far on the internet. Would I be able to set this favourite button up in the new I10? I’m hopefully picking my N Line up in the next few weeks😊

What I find irritating with the speed limiter display is, you can be in a 30mph zone but when you pass side road that is 20mph sign my car warns me I’m exceeding the limit when I know I’m not, but I don’t want to switch off the feature as I do find it helpful.

Hello, I noticed that for the us models there the option of “speed limit offset”. Does it exist for the models sold in Europe, or is that about the to come with a future update?

I've got an ioniq 6 last week and this is driving me mad.

A quicker way that I've found is using the voice command "search vehicle settings speed limit assist" --> it then loads the speed limit screen where you just press OFF.

And before that I've just went to first screen on dash, held OK for a second and then clicked on speed limit to get the assist screen. But obviously that is 2 buttons more than the voice way.

Can you also cover up the camera if it uses that instead of GPS?

I don’t get it. This is an EU regulation. Why is this mandatory in the UK as well?

Oh also one other thing. Before you can use the Favorite button after starting your car, you need to wait for the Profile to load. At least 5 seconds to 15 seconds.

hi Brian, i love your vids, very helpful, however, i have an issue, you might be able to help, my 241 ioniq 6 bought new in Dublin, doesn't give me the option to turn the speed limit assist off, any ideas, thanks Dave.

It's a very annoying feature, especially when it detects incorrect (lower) speed limits than it actually is.

Ok I’ll be that guy🙌 so at the minute you can turn it off, , but what about if a software update ie version 2 of ISA, is introduced and you carnt turn it off or doing so voids your insurance I think this is what will happen eventually

While this is required by the EU (soon this shht wil blow over) the fact is that Hyundai is not putting enough effort into countermeasures. Just look at BMW: You have one button: long press will disable all the nonsense or, if you have a quick push, it will disable an individual mode which is user selectable. How hard can it be to implement this? Given access to the code, I am sure I could figure this out in less than a day.
