How to TURN OFF Nintendo Switch Completely & Save Battery Life (Easy Method)

Do you want to know how to turn off the Nintendo Switch and save battery life??? Many people may think they are turning off their nintendo switch by going to the sleep mode, however, sleep mode will still drain your switches battery life. What you'll want to do is go to your power button on the top left of the switch and hold that down. Now when a screen pops up, go to more options. Then select turn off. This will turn off your nintendo switch and save battery life.

Worked perfectly. I knew that powering it down was possible. Just had no idea how to do it. I didnt worry about it too much but after i found out the switch controllers can be used for games on a mobile phone. But for this to work the switch needs to be fully shut down or the controllers will not pair with the phone. This video helped me very much.

I have a simple question. I have a Nintendo Lite that I bought a week ago, and this is the first time I shut it down completely, and I always put it on sleep mode. Was the battery damaged? I am sure I was able to save it as quickly as possible.
