I like the NKJV best myself, the PSQ is gonna be a a nice one I hope. I think I will get the paste down calfskin edition the price is in my neck of the woods😉

I have the old edition, which is only the New Testament and Psalms - my dad, who is Antiochan Orthodox, gave it to me.

Protestants wouldn't know anything about doctrines when they just self interpret the bible.
"Doctrines I don't agree with"...
Did anyone say that to the apostles when the apostles where evangelising? Or did they accept the church had the holy spirit to teach them.

I have this Bible for NKJV but the notes nothing that I like. The NRSV is very good for those who English not their mother tongue. It is the most accurate and up-to-date translation. I have KJV, NKJV, NIV, ESV, and NRSV in my collection.
