LOVE the long videos. Keep them up! The thoroughness is absolutely needed

James White doesn't even allow comments on his videos. That speaks volumes to me.

Galatians 3:2 (CSB) I only want to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by believing what you heard? ——So Paul gives two options here for regeneration: one is false and the other is true. You receive the Spirit, not by works of the law (which we all say Amen), but only AFTER believing what you heard. This destroys the T of total inability because it shows we must believe to be indwelled by the Holy Spirit and NOT be indwelled so as to believe. This is exactly what Paul says in Ephesians 1:13. Without total inability Calvinism falls.

Leighton Flower, you are a hero!
And I see God giving you more and more wisdom to answer and to interpret well the Biblical verses.

These verses do not deal with predestination to salvation, but deal with those who are already saved. Those who are already saved are predestined to be conformed to His image. God's plan was to sanctify those who are in Him. It does not explain how we are saved.

Thank God for brothers like Leighton dismantling this sneaky false doctrine of Calvinism. 🙏🏾

White vs Craig would be a slaughter. White would never recover.

Just FYI, I enjoy the longer videos. I have about an hour commute to work everyday, and I will start listening at the beginning of my day and then follow up with the remainder on my way home. 😂

I left my small Calvinist church 10 years ago here in London because I gradually realized 5 point Calvinism is OF COURSE a load of intellectual doo doo;-) Why on earth would Yahweh God tell Cain he must "master" sin if He - Yahweh - was supposedly not going to give Cain the Calvinistic 'grace' needed to overcome sin? That means according to Calvinism - God was just "going through the motions" when He said that to Cain(!)

Bless you Leighton another fantastic response to White's poor exegesis and understanding of scripture as a result of his calvanistic glasses.

Even if James White was persuaded, even convinced that his theology was wrong, he would never walk away from his prestigious position in Calvinism. He has built too much and there is far too much on the table for him to loose in this life. I really don't even think he would entertain that maybe Calvinism is wrong. Great work Mr Flowers glad I'm learning something from you being a former Calvinist for 10 years like you. I suppose the Calvinist would say that I was determined by God to leave Calvinism 😂

The problem is that the Calvinist sees the WORDS "to be" in the verse although it's NOT THERE.
Ephesians 1:4
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:”

He chose "US" who are in him, not He chose us TO BE in please let your ears hear what it says, it says, "He chose us in him"....He did not choose those who are outside of Christ, he chose us in him.

Edited to elaborate:
Apostle Paul: Hey YOU, yes you who are IN Christ THROUGH faith in Him, God has chosen US who are IN Him TO BE MADE HOLY AND WITHOUT BLAME before Him in love".
Believer: WHAT? God chose us to made Holy and blameless just because we BELIEVED the testimony of His Son, Christ Jesus? Are you sure he wants us? We are filthy sinners, I am not worthy of so great a gift...😯
Paul: Don't be sad and look upon yourself as unworthy...REJOICE, in the name of the Lord, Christ Jesus!
Believer: Psalms 32:7
“Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.”

Psalms 56:11
“In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.”

Psalms 62
6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.💌

Awesome job Leighton. Thanks for your faithful heart in Him, both in seeing clearly and holding fast as well as extending a heart of charity toward those who argue. 2 Tim 2:24-25: "And a servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome, but he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and forbearing. He must gently reprove those who oppose him, in the hope that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth.…"

I have seen a lot of demonstrations over the past few decades of Christian leaders demonstrate what "maturity" is suppose to look like concerning me. And sadly, same men would often be extremely guilty of not living out the living faith of this passage to truly demonstrating what that maturity DOES looks like...not SUPPOSE TO look like. The difference I believe is a weakness some men fall into a idolatry of being understood as a "teacher." Thanks you Leighton for demonstrating the living example of this passage for so many years now. I do see that James White (although still wiley) has become more seemingly tame and mannered towered you over the years. I feel like in a way you may be "the James White Whisperer." I have noticed a difference in how he has treated you over the years. For the glory of God, we get to see an honest heart moving a feisty heart into the light of charity. Please, keep honest and humble in Him in this. It wears so beautifully on His bride.

QUESTION: Please consider to do a video on the seed and the soils. I ask this because it is very clear that what is taught in scripture that you go over in this video is how secure the believer is in Christ. This area in scripture you go over here actually is the biggest proof of eternal security I believe we have---but have not really ever heard it taught as such. So in a way, you have (in your persistence) freed the "P" in Tulip from Perseverance to truly show what the scripture says in respect to Preservation of saints...a most true doctrine i believe. BUT, how might we juxtapose this with the soils? Are all saved? Are only the 30-100 fold saved? How do the soils fit in with being "in Him?"

Thanks.

Both of my sisters went to John Piper’s Bethlehem College & Seminary. I once had this identical conversation, regarding the “in Christ” reference, in Ephesians with one of my sisters. She was passionately talking about predestination and not acknowledging the “In Christ” reference until I pointed it out. It was a lightbulb moment, but she just muttered “well that doesn’t make sense.”

These calvanists would try to teach the apostle Paul if it were possible

I just had a thought, if predestination is true, then why is the great throne of judgement needed? Revelations 20 ''And there were open books, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds.
Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.''

How do Calvinists deal with mans condition in the OT? The Holy Spirit did not dwell in anyone until the new covenant. So how did man respond to Gods invitation to follow and obey him without a regenerated heart?
