I was married for just under 10 years, my happiest I’ve ever been was while married. There’s something about having a partner in life, a teammate, that shares your goals, hopes, and dreams. Even while my marriage was failing, I wasn’t going through it alone, because she was experiencing her own version of the same event.

Although my marriage failed I still believe in marriage and I’d never tell someone to not get married. You always gotta cheer for love 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

"Some people like dating, but we don't"....yep, that pretty much sums up the difference betweem married people and those who hate the idea of marriage. I've been married for 23 years now and I agree, dating sucks. I'd much rather be with a man I know (and love). But people who question the wisdom of getting married almost always bring up being tethered to one person for the rest of their lives *as if that's a bad thing!* Thing is, to me that's one of the biggest perks. 😉
