About 15 years ago I quit my 6 figure career and took some time off. I was "stuck" in a high pressure technical corporate environment and it was killing me. My wife recommended we change our lifestyle and we did. It was the best thing that ever happened to us. I took 6 months to de-stress, we went on a couple of vacations and when I got back I had several interesting and fun opportunties waiting for me. Life has a way of working things out when you just let it happen. Good for you... Keep evolving through your adventure. Quitting when you've outgrown a job is the best thing you can do! A lot of people choose to stay because they get used to it. Being open to the idea of change and growth is scary but so satisfying. I'm glad you took a leap of faith! :)
