I LOVE that we're keeping the trend alive where Poseidon just straight up bullies Odysseus. Yanking him by the hair to watch his crew drown was just... *chef kiss*

As strange as this might sound, I love how you interpreted the scene where Poseidon destroys the fleet, how it’s more of a natural disaster rather than Poseidon using sea monsters or tentacles, also the giant hand holding up Odysseus’ ship is an awesome visual

Holy crap, I love all the different variations of Ruthlessness done in animatics, but I think yours is my absolute favorite. The way you depict Poseidon in this really captures the vocals better than most others I've seen, he really has that perfect blend of eternal youthful arrogance and ancient immortal awareness. His frustration with Odysseus not for WHAT he did but how he did it really shines through here, and it heralds back to Athena's warning beautifully. The act of "mercy" he performed by leaving leaving Polyphemus blind and alone was subconsciously an act of vengeance for the deaths of his men, and Poseidon damn well knows it in this animatic!

Damn! Not only does Odysseus get grabbed by a water tentacle, but Poseidon forces him to watch his men drown by holding him by his hair!
Also, this version makes me think that Odysseus at first thought he was saying the right thing by explaining his actions to Poseidon, but then when Poseidon turned back at 3:02 he starts thinking maybe that wasn't the right thing to say. I don't know. That's just my interpretation.
